In this, the domain expert gathers the invention details from the inventor using the standardized invention disclosure form template. Then, the domain expert drafts the patent application in compliance with the PTO guidelines. The informal drawings/photographs are converted into accurate and professional AutoCAD drawings, which comply with the patent office guidelines. The patent application is then filed with the PTO. Renewals of the patent are managed during its lifecycle. All communications (office actions) with the patent office are managed from the filing till the expiry of the patent.
